Chain Lift Design

• The FISHER® chain lift design offers a wide range of performance and reliability advantages over a direct lift system.
• CLEAN SCRAPING: The chain lift design allows the blade to continuously “float” while plowing, enabling it to freely follow the contours of the plowing surface for a cleaner scrape.
• HIGHER STACKING: With a chain lift you can stack snow higher because the plow's movement is not restricted by the length of the ram stroke like on cylinder lift systems.
• RELIABILITY: With the simple mechanical chain lift design, there are fewer hydraulic and electrical components to worry about, so you can count on long life dependabililty.
• EASY RECOVERY: In the rare event of a hydraulic failure, you can push the snow plow up into a snowbank and “short chain” it to the specially designed bracket for safe transport back to the shop.

Unique Features

• PLOW BLADE CONSTRUCTION: Available in stainless steel or powder coated steel, the XtremeV™ snow plow blade is available in 7' 6", 8' 6" and 9' 6" widths*. The blade comes standard with a high-carbon steel cutting edge, increasing wear resistance, and features a 70-degree attack angle for enhanced scraping and back dragging. *The 7' 6" model is available in stainless steel only.
• STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT: The XtremeV™ v-plow features our rugged x-bracing design which is constructed from four vertical ribs and eight x-bracing ribs. The ribs reinforce the blade for structural integrity and exceptional torsional strength, even under the punishing stress of commercial plowing.
• RELIABLE HYDRAULICS: We produce our own hydraulic system to ensure the highest standards of performance, quality and reliability, giving you a plow that is fast, responsive and built to last. All critical hydraulic components are fully enclosed for protection from the elements.
• TRIP PROTECTION: Each v-plow blade features independent trip-edge protection to get over bumps and hidden obstacles, whether in V, scoop, or straight-blade configuration, helping to protect the plow, the truck and the operator. Since only the bottom edge trips, snow stays in front of the blade, so you can keep on going without dumping the entire load of snow. The FISHER® trip edge uses compression-type springs that never require adjustment and will not wear out like extension springs.
• DOUBLE-ACTING CYLINDERS: InstaLock double-acting cylinders allow the operator to lock the wings together to use the v-plow in straight blade mode with single button control. Double-acting cylinders also hold the wings firmly in place for clean, efficient back dragging.
• CENTER SNOW CONTROL: For exceptional snow containment in all positions, the XtremeV™ v-plow has a center deflector designed to prevent snow from going over the top of the blade and the formed cutting edges reduce trailing snow.

Universal Features

• MINUTE MOUNT® 2 SNOWPLOW MOUNTING SYSTEM: The reliable, mechanical attachment design of the Minute Mount® 2 snowplow mounting system allows for easy hook-up with no tools required and no electrical switches to fail and leave you struggling out in the cold. The vehicle mounts and lower gear are flared both vertically and horizontally to ensure proper alignment and make the drive-in connection easier. Simply raise the pin release handle and push on the headgear to pop the pins into place. Then, raise the jack, snap it into place and plug in the electrical connectors.
• FLEET FLEX ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: With the FISHER® FLEET FLEX Electrical System, you have true fleet interchangeability. Unlike other manufacturers who require a different control system for different plows, the FISHER FLEET FLEX system lets you operate the following FISHER Minute Mount® 2 plows on any truck at any time with the same Fish-Stik® hand-held or joystick control. The FLEET FLEX system provides easy operation, increased reliability, simple wiring and easy installation. Addtional features include programmable "soft-stop," "one-touch" float, and built-in SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System.
• SECURITY GUARD™ ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM: The exclusive SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System is a safe and secure way to electronically lock your snow plow whenever it is detached from your truck. Unlike physical locks that can easily be cut or removed, the system provides a deterrent against theft by allowing you to electronically lock the snow plow's hydraulic functions, rendering your plow inoperable to unauthorized users.
• UNIVERSAL CONTROL OPTIONS: Choose between the ergonomic Fish-Stik® handheld control or the dash-mounted joystick control based on your preference. Both feature automatic shutoff, backlit buttons for night operation, and LED lights which indicate "power" and "float" mode. Additional features include programmable "soft-stop," "one-touch" float, built-in SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System, and plug-in connector for easy removal.
• INTENSIFIRE™ HALOGEN HEADLAMPS: State-of-the-art reflector optics provide a smooth, wide beam pattern that illuminates the entire plowing surface, with minimal glare above the lamp, especially during snowfall. INTENSIFIRE™ halogen headlamps feature combination park and turn signal lights that conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Your vehicle light switch activates the plow lights so a separate in-cab switch is not needed. The headlamps are held firmly in place with a two-stud mounting bracket, to maintain proper alignment even under harsh shock and vibration forces. Reflector optics provide a smooth, wide beam pattern with minimal glare, giving the operator a clear view of the entire plowing area in front. An adhesive bond helps seal out water between the lens, reflector and housing to prevent damage. The INTENSIFIRE'S H13 long-life halogen bulbs have an average life of 1,500 hours, and are easy to replace through a simple three-screw bulb access cover.
• STORM GUARD™ BAKED-ON POWDER COAT: The industry’s best protection against wear and rust, the STORM GUARD™ baked-on powder coat with epoxy primer is standard on all FISHER® snow plows. Each FISHER plow goes through an automated eight-wheel shot blaster pre-treatment process to remove mill scale and profile steel surfaces for the best adhesion, followed by a multi-stage pre-wash which provides superior surface preparation. Then a durable epoxy primer is applied to improve corrosion resistance and enhance powder coat adhesion. The power coat is then applied with robotic guns in a climate-controlled powder-coat booth that ensure precise, uniform powder coat coverage. The final baking process seals the long-lasting high gloss FISHER yellow coat, to provide superior protection for your snow plow, season after season.
• ISOLATION MODULE: An underhood module transfers lights from vehicle to plow automatically and improves system reliability by using plug 'n play, sealed electrical connections that comply with OEM requirements. Isolating the plow's electrical system from the vehicle's prevents the potential of electrical system damage in the event of a shorted circuit.
